Conclusion

Thank you for following this blog in the past months, it has been a joy to write and to explore more into the world of Christians and lesbians.

I feel i have learnt something about the struggles people go through, not only as lesbians, but as Christians as well to accept one another and also to accept themselves as they are.

Within this blog, i have encountered many peoples opinions that i may not have done otherwise. As i explored reasons why Christians may not always of focused on lesbians to why some are focusing far too much hatred towards them today. It has been interesting to see the world from others perspectives and understand a little more about us.

I hope i have managed to answer some of your questions and maybe encourage you to ask a few more as well.

Again, Thank you for reading.

Lauren-Mary.

  1. This is John Draper, aspiring fiction writer. I'm hoping you can help with a short story. Strange request. I'm not LGBT but I am ExChristian, from age 19 to 54. I'm writing a short story about a gay man raised in a fundamentalist household. He is estranged from his devout mother, who raised him as a single parent. He hasn't spoken with her since she refused to come to his wedding. When the story opens, she has come to town to perform an exorcism on her son and free him from the Curse of Perversion. The story reaches its climax when it's revealed that she had a lesbian lover before giving birth to her son. In fact, she's a repressed lesbian who had been lying to everyone, including herself.

The story is about the impact this revelation has on both of them.

So what's my point? I would like to talk to someone whose story matched the mother's -- motherhood and repressed/suppressed homosexuality and, eventually, coming out. I would like to interview you to create the character sketch for the mother.

Like I said: strange request .

To give you an idea of my writing style, see this post from my blog:

    Thanks for your time
